It’s a genuinely wild swing, the guy who made us ugly-cry as Iron Man is now playing the man trying to unravel reality itself. Somewhere, a screenwriter is very proud of this pitch, and RDJ himself has reportedly called the villain role every bit as exciting as playing the hero the first time around.
Where’s the Trailer?
Patience, hero. Marvel has been dropping breadcrumbs for months, leaked set photos, a “throne room” reveal, and enough teaser footage in theaters to keep fan forums busy but the full trailer has been suspiciously absent. That’s about to change.
Marvel Studios has confirmed a Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 25, and while the studio hasn’t officially said the words “Avengers: Doomsday” in its announcement, nobody is fooled.
